Accidental Sightseeing

The great thing about traveling is sightseeing. It is even a better experience when ones comes across things they heard about, and had no idea they were heading right towards it.

The University Club of San Francisco is located in Nob Hill, a very historical and prominent neighborhood of San Francisco.

(I had no idea it was located there. I was just looking for Powell and California Street.)

As I walked along the street, I started to notice some great structures, and took some pictures. (Turns out, those structures were historical buildings that survived the earthquake in 1906, when the rest of the neighborhood was destroyed.)

After I was done at the University Club, I decide to walk down the hill to find a place for lunch. Next thing you know, I was in San Francisco’s renowned Chinatown.

One never knows what one will see when walking around. That is what is great about travel.

(The San Francisco Gallery is updated with my “discoveries”.)
